ABOUT

DAMN! puts on two showcases per year, which means you could see your artistic vision come to life and in front of a paying audience as soon as early 2019!
Here's what you can expect at a typical meeting:
For the first 10 minutes or so of the meeting, we all sort of kick back and shoot the breeze. Talk about whatever.

Then someone will say, "let's get this thing started! Anyone got anything to read?"

A few will raise their hands and say, "I got something!" The writer can pick whomever he or she wants to act out his or her play.
We are:
- an amazing avenue for writers to see their works performed, and get a chance to discuss what works and what doesn't with the whole group.
- an amazing avenue for actors who want a work-out. It's an excellent chance to hone those cold-reading skills!
- made up of seasoned theater professionals, as well as new-comers. It's a magical blend of the under-schooled and over-schooled.

- FREE, although small donations are encouraged to help pay for the space.

Skeptical? Curious? No problem. Just come hang out and experience the group for yourself. No pressure, just come to watch.
